Aloha GRINDING endless loop 1

Hey guys,

I have a problem grinding a day in our Aloha system.
It started at the end of the day, when Aloha tried grinding the folder. It entered into an endless loop. The only way to stop it was to remove the folder.
Now, of course, we are missing a day in our reports.
When I move the folder back to Aloha, the grinding starts again, and it never ends.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

You have a trans.log error. Put the dated folder back, copy the GRNDBF30.XXX from any other dated folder into yesterday and the FOH will no longer be waiting for yesterday to grind.

here is how to fix the corrupt trans.log

run from the dated folder
c:\bootdrv\aloha\BIN\GRIND.EXE /FIXLOG TRANS.LOG
rename trans.log trans.oldMMDD
rename fixed.log trans.log
then regrind dated folder
%iberdir%\aloha\bin\grind /date 20160802 or what ever dated folder is the issue
