I have a restaurant that changed there logo. We dropped into the BMP folder the new logo.bmp, removed all other logo files. Refreshed and the correct new logo appears. 20 minutes later, we do a refresh and the old logo is back on all the screens. I personally copied the new file to all the floor terminals. Does any one have any insight as to why this happens.
Aloha Manager 6.7.28 with the new SQl style interface.

Lastly what is the difference between refresh data and apply nexts days data?

The "apply next day's data" actually applies tomorrows events, price changes, etc...

If you're using CFC, bmp images must be uploaded into the Media Files section in Maintenance>System Settings>Media Files to be kept after refresh.

You can also copy the .bmp file directly to the term(s) bmp folder.

ReallyRTFM,

I tried that first, and as long as I never refreshed the new logo would stay. Since following strangemadness advice the logo has stayed for 2 days and multiple refreshes. Seems that even if you replace the old logo with a new one in every bmp folder the original will still come back.

Learning the new interface for Aloha has become a lot of fun yet very frustrating. Even for restaurants who have used the older version for a long time find this new one faster to program something and slower for others.

@AlohaRoss -

There are a lot of processes that seem to take more steps with programming using CFC. And the old "copying in dbf's from a previous day to fix an issue" doesn't work the way one would like it to. But from a centralized management standpoint, it is so much easier to manage the programming for our 350+ sites using it. The "save to this an other records" function is nice, as well as the filtering and grid view features. The first several months I used it, I despised it, but I'm really starting to come around now.

I see said the blind man! I don't have the logo file defined in the Media Files section therefore its not getting overwritten by CFC. Good info.
