Aloha fileserver error added master

We moved computers and network was not properly attached when we restarted. Computer kept saying need file server and we did the # addition and that made that computer work. Now, we have all the wires connected back up correctly and don't know how to change it back. That computer/printer etc is not networked to the others. ANy ideas? (I believe it's in redundancy mode without having the other screens attached.) Caren ctimmerman5520@charter.net

You need to use 'recover file server' in the back of house, but judging by the fact this is a few days old you've probably figured that out....

I to am in the same boat with Aloha 5.3. Our culinary department bought this product from Aventa, which stopped operations and now they have no support. There server went down and I asked to help them out. I got the server working for now but it seems that Terminal 2 took over as the file server and can not figure out how to switch it back to the server. The documents that I read said to use the utility menu and select Fileserver Recovery. When I log-in with their account there is NO OPTION for Fileserver Recovery.
Is their a way to do this manually. Not sure if Aventa installed all options or what. We don't even have the software.

If you can not see the Fileserver Recovery option when you log into an account in Aloha Manager, try logging in using the ALT-X trick.
