Just switched to using VISANET (heartland) and the FOH says the card was processed offline, yet EDC shows as authorized. "POS is ON" in EDC is flashing real quick like its constantly connecting and disconnecting, not sure if that has anything to do with it or that's normal. Any ideas?

Restart your edcservice

Close EDC
open services.msc
find edcsvr
right click on it and choose restart
wait
close services window
open EDC

see what happens

The only other time i have seen that issue is when the FOH windows user id and password do not match the Boh

Tried that a few times before, and even double checked that the terminals and server have the same login and password.

check and make sure your ibercfg.bat is pointing to the correct folder on the back of house.

EDCPATH=" "

what could be happening is that the master terminal's EDCPATH is pointing to the wrong folder location to the BOH therefore it processes the card offline but EDC picks it up right away as it is scanning the EDC folders on the terminals for spl files.

Sheerdyn is correct, if you dont have an IBERCFG.BAT file, then look in the control panal
system or system poperties for win 7
the advanced tab
environmental variables and scroll down until you find edcpath

Seems to be working now, thanks. I re checked all passwords and paths, iberconfig.bats and variables and that seemed to fix it. Thanks
