Had a back of house go offline for a few hours while replacing a fried switch. Placed the terminals into redundant mode.

Once the switch was replaced, did a file server recovery, sales pulled over, but the EDC files did not. The terminal also is processing credit cards correctly again.

Any ideas?

this is aloha 6.4

I just dropped them into edc root, and renamed them to .req files, and that worked. Not sure why it did this to begin with....

Spooled files *.spl are held on the master terminal when EDCSVR is not communicating or pos processing is turned off. The files should come out of spool mode automatically. If they don't usually the edcsvr is logged in differently than the terminals or edcpath is not present or correct on the terminals.

Cheers,
Coorsman
