Aloha EDC Help, please!

Hey Everyone,

Our Aloha server had a few HD issues. Now we got it to work, but EDC seems broken (pic attached).
I cannot see the current or previous batches. I cannot even process a credit card directly from EDC.

Can someone guide me on how to recover EDC?

you are missing your edc.ini file. Close edc
restart the edc service
open edc
log in
with poos off under processors do you have any listed? if yes you should be ok, if not search the harddrive for file edc.ini

Thank you for always replying!
No processors listed.
And the edc.ini file only hast this in it:
[EDC]
BackgroundMode=1

Will I have to configure EDC all over again, and maybe re-process the CCs that are missing from today?

if they are spooled it should happen automatic. Not sure who you processed with before, but look for that folder

It is strange that the entire edc folder would have disappeared. What happened that caused the issue in the first place.

Hey Ross,

What caused the problem was a malfunctioning Hard Drive.

I finally managed to replace it and got everything back to work.
I lost a day. Files were damaged and could not recover them.
