You can change the DOB through the Aloha.ini file or through Aloha Manager in the System area of Store Settings. Download the reference guide from the link below and go to page 165 for information on changing the DOB through Aloha Manager.

many thx , don't see any info on page 165, can you verify

Contact your aloha dealer, there is a DST patch they came out with a few years ago to correct this problem. It's a very easy fix. If you have no luck I'll look to see if I still have it. Versions 6.0 and above already correct this problem.

I have an old javelin terminal with windows95 and aloha 5.3 (works well) need to replace as the touch screen is getting old and non receptive, whats the best way to copy the entire terminal so the new can be plug and play........

You should be able to copy the entire contents of the aloha folder over with no problem. There are some other things that have to be done within windows besides just the aloha.
Ip address, share name, username and password, copy of Iber put in startup, make sure password never expires.
If you have the aloha disk, it also has a term setup folder you may be able to use. Depending on the operating system used, there may have to be some changes made in the registry. Let me know what your purchasing so that I can give you more info.

hello ....is there a way i can just colon the entire terminal

no, the drivers will be different on another type of terminal, unless it's the exact machine.
