it looks like someone has changed the date on the fileserver to 2010? Check the time and date on the fileserver - change the date in aloha manager - maintenance - store settings -

Cheers,
Coorsman

Thank-you that worked and changed date, refresh data seems to have moved data from terminals to BOH, only one problem remaining
from sales sales summary report the dates are wrong. Looks like:
today *** today is the 26th
9/26/2011 this sales report contains 4 days reciepts
9/24/2011 *** note no 25th
9/23/2011
*** contiguous descending order

comment: date changed in aloha, date on server is 26th 2011

in windows rename the folder for the 26th to the 25th. Open the folder - look for a file named aloha.ini.

Open/edit with notepad the aloha.ini file - there will be alot of information in this file - be careful not to change anything while editing this file, look for DOB 09 26 2011 and change it to the 25th.

Close and save file.

now look for a file gnddbf30.xxx and delete it - it will regrind the date.

check your date again in aloha manager - maintenance - system - settings, it should reflect today's date.

Cheers,
Coorsman

c:\aloha contained folders 20100125 thru 20110924, skipped the 25th and had 20110926. I changed that folder name to 20110925.
The sales report screen seems to be ok but the sales report
when gen'ed for the 26th shows non reset totals for the last 4
days and 0 sales today which is correct, we're closed on monday.
the report title is sales report 09/27/2011. It seems that
aloha is in tomorrow ?

Done as instructed, missed your post while I was entering mine.
current status is as above. It did regrind after deleting the
gnddbf30.xxx file. Only remaining issue is sales reports still
shows 27th date in title, but is in the 27th ? Aloha mgr >
maintance > store settings > system > date tab showing 09/26/2011.

Have option under Aloha mgr >maintance > store settings > system > date tab; checkbox (state unchecked) " Synchronize POS Time
With Back Office Time " Believe it was never selected.

From aloha quick service reference guide 6.2 The param functions:
Synchronize POS Time With Back Office Time — Makes the time setting on your POS terminal
correspond to the time setting on your back office file server. This causes SyncTime.exe to
run every two hours for all terminals on the system, which synchronizes the terminal time with
the time on the file server. It does not interfere with normal operations.

Better leave it like it was, Synchronize POS Time With Back Office Time - can cause it to go into "Aloha Time" as we call it, the terminals change 2+ -2 hrs all day long.

Check the DOB on the front terminal screens - should be 9-26-11.

Cheers,
Coorsman

I did a refresh again after your last instructions and it has
fixed the summary report title to the correct date. Thank-you
so much for your assistance, I think I maybe fixed.
