Aloha coupon/discount not working

I have reinstalled my aloha server. For whatever reason my coupons or 10% 20% 30% etc discounts no longer work. It gives an error that there are no items for it to apply or something close to it.

Note I copied the aloha folder then applied the update so my data was there.
How can I fix this error?

check to see what category the discount is looking at. Usually its all items. Then make sure you have all your items in the all items category.

Can you give me some steps on how to do that?

You are correct it is for all items.
