Aloha Combo

We use Aloha POS. We set up a combo promo with 3 categories, apps/entrees/dessert for one price. When we try to apply the promo, we constantly get an error message that the combo requires 1-app - even though we have one. We have checked the contents of the apps category to ensure that they are included, so this isn't the problem. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
 
That is odd, the combo setup is pretty straight forward, and it sounds like you have set it up correctly. As long as you have chosen the correct Categories with all correct items added, have your Min and Max values set appropriately, selected a Price, and a category for free modifiers, you should be good to go.

I use this with no issues on v5.3.28... perhaps there is a bug in v5.3.17 with combos. You could check with your reseller to see if an upgrade may solve your issue.
