Aloha 6.7.74 Upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded Aloha 6.2 to 6.7.74 using the 'upgrade any to 6.7.74' tool. When I am starting Uber, I get to 'initialising peripherals' and I get a windows error saying the app isn't responding. DEP settings seem ok, there is a kernel base error in the logs. I don't have the installer to try and install everything again. All setup steps ha e been completed. Thanks

Did you install all the needed Requirements on FOH. Is your CTLSVR service running on BOH?

Hi, the terminal was previously running Aloha from a different customer when I got it, it loaded Iber fine. The terminal was to replace an old terminal and server that died (an old radiant p1220). I copied the bootdrive from the dead terminal and went through all the pre-reqs, most of them were done as it was previously used for Aloha. I coped the data over, deleted the old Bootdrv, ran 'Register_Iber.bat' and then tried to run Aloha (v6.2) I was getting the error I mentioned so I upgraded the version to 6.7.74 and the upgrade eventually worked after some tinkering with HASP drivers and upgrading them. I can log into Aloha Manager with no issues, CtlSvr is running with no errors. The terminal is both TERM1 and also the server.

I can run iber with no issues using the version of Aloha already on the terminal (version 6.7.71.6457) although using the previous data the till is TERM1 but not the server.

As of Jan 1st 2021 anything less than 6.7.67 does not work. This would explain why 6.2 does not work.
In your ibercfg.bat, what is listed as Server=? I could ask a bunch of other things to check on, but it would be much faster to just remote in and see everything at one time. You can find my number on my website or dm me from Reddit.

Hi, I have checked this and updated to today. Was set as 2013 due to the issue with 6.2 and 2021.

I have replaced the broken bootdrv with the working one that was on it and Aloha is working with the old data.
Any suggestions? Happy for you to have a look yourself if thats easier.
