I can't get Aloha 6.5 running on versions of Windows 10 past version 1703. It seems 6.5 requires haspnt.sys to be in Windows\system32\drivers and upgrading to newer versions of Windows 10 fails if that file is there. Deleting haspnt.sys allows the Windows upgrade to work but then Aloha doesn't see security key and will not run. Aloha 6.7 doesn't have any problems running without haspnt.sys. Anyone else had this problem? Any way around it?

I have had all kinds of issues getting older versions of Aloha to install in Win 10. Usually Aloha install gets to installing hasp driver and then the server crashes every time it boots. Repost in Reddit\r\alohapos you may get more answers

How are you handling lana issues when Windows updates and resets lana? Is there a way other than manually changing in registry every time?

If using Aloha 6.7 on win7 32 bit but obviously need to go to windows 10. What needs to be done if I just attempt to upgrade to win 10 32 bit...Will aloha crash or not run? Will it still see key?

My best suggestion is to not upgrade a pc from win7 to win10, better to replace. If you run into any problem during upgrade you have no way to get Aloha back up. Always have backup plan. Not had issues with Hasp drivers on 6.7 and newer with Win10

thanks for the advise to not upgrade but I was trying to find a way NOT to spend $2,0000-the cost to buy a machine and get tech support through install-its always easy when you shell out tons of money.

Anyone know if setting a restore point in Win 7 just before Win 10 upgrade would be the fall back if Win 10 upgrade does not work? (Running Aloha 6.7)
