Aloha 6.4.39 Trans Log error

[ER_IT guy]

We had a power outage last night around 8:30pm and had issues with eod and it was in a grind loop all night. I checked it this morning and to stop the loop, i copy and pasted the DBF file from the previous day and it stopped the loop. I am not however able to get my transactions back. It appears to be a corruption in the trans log. I will see how it goes tonight but I'd like to recoup all the transactions from yesterday. I've attached the debout portion:

did you check the time and date on PC. Last line on log shows wrong date
Did you run translog repair
bin\grind.exe/fixlog trans.log
rename files and see if it grinds

Aloha Ross,

I have been having trouble with the terminals switching the hour back like once a week. It has the correct time on the BOH but I have to go in manually change it and hit apply and it will change the terminals back to the correct time. I'm not sure why it does this. To run the translog, how would i do so? Do i need to open a command line from my aloha folder? Or from inside the dated folder with the corrupted trans log which was yesterdays log 20180723?

for the time issue
In aloha manager set to international time in store settings. Enable DST if required
close Aloha manager
Stop ctlsvr service
del timezone.ini in data folder
set correct time, and time zone in windows
start ctlsvr
set time and timezone on master term in FOH. all others will adjust to Master

for translog
open cmd
navigate to dated folder
then run bin\grind.exe/fixlog trans.log
rename trans.log to trans.xxx
rename fixed.log to trans.log
regrind dated folder. If it grinds you fixed log. If not then Log is not repairable with limited tools in Aloha

So the grind.exe file is in my BIN folder where all my other folders are such as TMP, DATA, ect plus the actual dated folders. There is no grind.exe inside the dated folder so do i just run it from the BIN folder? After running the grind.exe, will it give me the option to change the name of the trans log or do I have to manually change in the the directory?
