Aloha 5.2 Software 1

Is there anyway anyone has Aloha 5.2 software and would be willing to share it?

Long story short, the server was brought to me with 5.3.1 installed...and silly me thought it would be safe to update to 5.3.36. Now, the server throws an error stating 5.3.36 can not be used and is only licensed for 5.2. Of course, they do not have the software it's license for so I'm hoping some one on here has the software so I can help them out.

Download these 3 files -Rename the current bin folder in aloha and paste this one, it dosen't need to be re-installed if it already has been installed. You can just copy it. There are new register and unregister bat files included. be sure to open and check the paths before using these bat files. You can use the old ones if you still have them.

Thanks coorsman...seems to be working okay now. Had some issues with the ctrlsrv and edcsrv services not starting and not adding the services to Windows, but it's good to go now.

Really odd, I downgraded to the 5.2 version and found a backup bin folder for the 5.3.1 version under a different Windows profile. Just for kicks I thought I would use the .bat files you gave and the 5.3.1 bin folder and it allowed me to use 5.3.1 with not problems.

So I pushed my luck and tried the 5.3.36 update again and it broke Aloha. It keeps throwing errors that it's only licensed for 5.2 and will not start the ctrlsrv service and it shuts down Aloha QS Manager. The odd part is, and I what I don't totally get, why it won't let me update 5.3.1 to 5.3.36 as my understanding is.. it's licensed for 5.3 then I should be able to update as long as I stay with in that version.

we do have aloha BOH with four foh terminals all working good i do have jiva posiflex terminal i need to install aloha on it so i can make ready with Boh and save it on the side as backup ,now what i did i used drive pin and i copy all aloha files like BIN from one of the terminal and i copy it to other terminal i set the tcp/ip and i create LAN network name it ibertech.exe it now i hooked the Ethernet cable that i unplugged from working terminal then aloha start coping files fast look good the system restart more than ten times and finally sync read then numterm is 1 but 4 defined i went back to termsetup.exe to put 4 beside num of terminals and after all nothing happen still restart for more than 30 times .any way the time is correct day correct matched with other term computer name i name it 4 ip address is ok but under connection properties is i just check client for Microsoft,file sharing and printers,and by mistake i delete client service for net ware.
why is not communicating know why it communicating first is any of the description lead to error or do i have to delete aloha and install it again .please help me i need beer to relax.
