Aloha 4.26 Issues

I'm currently running Aloha 4.26 (yes, I know it's old school). The problem I've been running into lately is that my terminals are running VERY slow at times and I notice the problem is getting worse. In the top right corner of the screen when I login with a manager code says "System 1%". Does anyone know what that means and does anyone know what might cause this dramatic slowdown on all of the terminals, except BOH.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about system % off hand, but slow terminals usually means slow networking. It can be a bad cable, hub, punchdown, etc..

New switch should show up today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Any other suggestions if this doesn't work?

If that doesn't work, check everything else nework related. FYI System 1% is normal.

Could be something as weird as a printer interface being bad in that version. I have seen where an Epson printer interface would cause that type of slow down after you tried to print a check to the effected printer. You delete the logs and refresh data and the system is back to normal. Try deleting the prt logs and refresh and see if you get some improvement. If you do it is probably what I described. Or what they said... some NIC somewhere acting up on the network.
