Alog Trunk lines Problem

Has any one had issues with alog lines that do not ring
you can see the call comming in on the 4 port alog module and the led flashes but never rings any where also tried this with a alog 16 unit same problem i think its a voltage problem

I take it you mean that the phone does'nt ring? Have you got a Adapter(Balun) on the end of the Analogue phone, if so make sure that it is a Master Adapter. If it is a Secondary Adpater the phone will not ring.

The RJ45 sockets on the IPO are already mastered so secondary adapters "should" work, however the Ringvoltage on the IPO is not verry strong & may be the cause of problems with some handsets

also if the led on the phone is flashing check that the user has not turned the rinnger OFF.

Just a suggestion - try to decrease Ring Persistency timer in Analog Trunk>Analogue folder.
