Upgraded an IPO 500 V1 Release 4.2 to IPO 500 V2 Release 9.0400.965 using export config. Now in the IP Extension VoIP Tab the Allow Remote Extension Option is missing. Even if I create a new H323 Extension, this option is still missing in the VoIP tab. Some of the extension did have VPN Enable checked on the original system on 4.2. This is very similar to thread940-1723713 don't know if there is a resolution.

Just to add to the above, I did check H323 Remote Extension Enable in the LAN1 VoIP Tab.

9.0 changed this option.
You do not longer need to enable it on the extension but only on the user.
The system knows that the user is logged in on the extension and allows it as a remote extension.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Just be aware that since they did this it no longer ignores the Direct Media Path setting as it did previously so turn that off, you should anyway but it's worth knowing :)
