Allow international calls to specific number only 1

First, sorry for my bad English.
This is my first post here, and so this is my first question.

I want to create a list of specified phone numbers which can be reached from specific station from my system, which can only call inside the company. So, my question is how should I define this, using COS (class of service) or any other way.

LCOSV is Least Cost Routing Class Of Service (Voice)
That is the parameter you need to define first and then assign to each extension.
If you have a working system then LCOSV has already been defined.

DIS-COSSU:LCOSV;

Will show you a listing of what access level can disl what area code.

If you want to allow access to some numbers from extensions that are 'internal only' then
REG-LDPLN;

Find one that they can already dial like a free phone number.

Add in the numbers you want them to be able to access using their (low) level of LCOSV

I can't seem to find in which LCOSV my free numbers are defined. I found that the emergency numbers can be called from any phone no matter I had set up LCOSV1 just for local calls. But I can't figure where this numbers are defined.
This is working system and its preconfigured by the company who putted it in function and lcosv1 1 is internal only, 3 is national and 5 is worldwide calling. Executing DIS-COSSU:LCOSV; gives me this:

well they did not 'label up' the LCOSV so as you could see,
However you can work it out from the LDPLN.
If you look at example LDPLN

ADD-LDPLN:LCRPATT,0,8-X,
0&1&2&3&4&5&6&7&8&9&10&11&12&13&14&15,
81,,,1,,,,N;

It means that you dial 8 and 1 digit after that.
When you dial the 8 and 1 digit it sends it to the carrier.
Any further digits are then sent individually to the carrier until you are connected.
The last digit (before the N) is 1 in this case.
That means that it is allowing everyone who has LCOSV 1 and above to dial 8-X


In most situations LCOSV 1 is for Internal, Emergency calls and maybe Freephone calls as well.
LCOSV 2 would be Local call rate
LCOSV 3 might be Cell Phones
LCOSV 4 National
LCOSV 5 International
etc.

If you need 'internal only' phones then you have to change the LDPLNs for Local to 2

Today, after a week trying to figure out how this works, using your instructions, I finally figured it out and successfully configured new LDPLN, and all phones can reach our company cellphones.

Thank you again and this is very helpful post for anyone with similar needs.

You could add information elements to the individual LCOSV's but if you have them
written down then that is ok.
 
Dear sbcsu,
After sorting this ting, I figured out that our company has international co workers and that we can't create LDPLNs for every mobile phone number (there are more than 3000 mobile phones worldwide with different prefixes and operators). Is there any other options on HiPath 4000 v6 to add list of 3000 numbers and the numbers to be allowed to be dialed from specific LCOSVs. I was trying to figure it out but with no Luck :) . Thank You again for the information already provided, and for Your help on this subject.

In that situation what you can do is add them in as 'speed dial numbers'
Then allow each extension access to that speed dial list.
Even if the extension is 'internal calls only' you can do this.

To allow the feature:
ADD-DIMSU:TYPE=USER,SPDCL=16;
CHA-FEASU:A,SPDC&SPDI;

To add 2 speed dial number lists (if not already done)
ADD-LRNGZ:00,000,999;
ADD-LRNGZ:01,000,999;

Add a code (if not already there) for to use the feature:
ADD-WABE:*2,,,SPDC1,N;

To add speed dial numbers to the first list:
ADD-ZRNGZ:0,001,0123456789,0,"NAME HERE FOR REFERENCE ";

To allow extensions access to dial speed dial numbers:
CHA-SBCSU:STNO=XXXX,SPDC1=0,SPDC2=1;

To then dial a speed dial number, use *2001 from the phone and it will dial the number above.

There is one more parameter which allows extensions to dial speed dial numbers even if they would normally be barred from dialling that number but I can not remember it right now :)

Give it a try

You could then make up a listing of speed dial numbers and circulate to your colleagues for use.
