I have a set of records that I want the user to be able to select from and store in a query. I would like to do this in an allocation table format. has anyone done this before if so How? Or is there a shareware wizard that can help in the process?

Thanks,
MAP

Records are not stored in queries. They can only be stored in tables. Queries are very powerful ways to manipulate your data for viewing and printing (via forms and reports). They can also be used to update, append to, or delete.

I know records are not stored in queries. My main question is can you incorporate an allocation table format into a form. When you use an access wizard it pops up allocations so you must be able to do it but without a wizard I think it may be a coding nightmare. If anyone out there has done this before and can point me in the right direction please let me know.
