Hi
I need to configure our switch so certain extensions go out with particular outgoing numbers attached. How do I go about this?
We currently have 757747, 737100 and 737140 as main numbers and I need to allocate specific extensions to go out on the correct numbers.
Thanks

Jenny

I think it's the easyest to use the feature multi tenant service.

With this feature you can assign users within one customer different tenants. You can then keep user groups away to use specific trunk routes.

I think you are talking about CLID - the calling number displayed on the called phone.

IF you have PRI trunks, Just assign CLIDs for each number you want displayed and assign to keys on phones

Yes, thuis is exactly Right
Using The calling Line ID
as Reusser said you need to to add an entry to your CLID Table
(let us say
entry no 31 for 757747 ,
entry no 32 for 737100 and
entry no 33 for 737140

you can program a phone set or change an exsisting set
by changing it to (Example) KEY 0 SCR 4499 31 (here is where you add the CLID ID Table entry (31), or 32 or 33) so when some one uses this ext to dial out, what will show on the called phone is what (31 or 32 correspond to in Your CLID Table)
hope that help
