allign records when using section suppression in details 1

Hello:

I'm using CRXI with a SQL DB. Is there a way to make a field associated with a suppressed record appear with other records in a detail section that are not being suppressed?

For example:

There is a group in the report that is a code for a specifc record and there is a date field that is associated with that record, but it is linked/alligned with a subsequent code. I'm suppressing the second record in details (the code associated with the date field) and I'd like the date field from the suppressed record to be displayed with the 1st record that is not suppressed.

My details section looks like this:

code field 1
code field 2(suppressed record) Date field

Is there a way to allign the date field with the "code field 1" that is not being suppressed so they appear to be on the same line in the details section?
