Hi there,

I'm at my wits end with this!

I have designed a menu in AllWebMenu 4.2 and have used the dreamweaver extension to load the menu in and it works fine when previewed in a browser using I.E and FF. When i load it onto the server the menu displays and works fine in FF but is not visible in IE

You can see it here

Any help to whay this might be will be ver much appreciated!

Many thanks

Mike

Couple of possibilities.

1. Check where your menu.js actually sits on your server. If it's in the webroot directory then try changing <script charset='UTF-8' src='../menu.js' type='text/javascript'></script> to <script charset='UTF-8' src='menu.js' type='text/javascript'></script>

2. You know the bit where it says
<!-- DO NOT MOVE! The following AllWebMenus code must always be placed right AFTER the BODY tag-->

You could try following the instructions and put the code right after the <body> tag instead of halfway down the page

Hi There,

Thank you for your suggestions.

I havent tried them yet as i upgraded my I.E explorer to I.E 7 and then the menu worked.

Now i have the problem of not being able to test using internet explorer 6 to see if it works.

If i make these changes could you advise if they have worked?

Many thanks

Mike

Yeh it appears in IE 6, you might also want to delete the extra charachters at the very begining of your page
Code:
<|
Cheech

Hi there,

Thanks very much for the feedback.

Although i have a problem with those characters, i've looked all through my code and i can't find them?

Please could you have a quick scan through my source code and see if you can spot them? Where's Wolly!)

Many thanks

Mike

They are immediately before your doctype declaration. Your page does not seem to have a head section, and you may also care to look at validation
