Hi,

I am trying to develop an application and it seems as though all my projects are linked which causes them to all update each time I save the current project.

What I want to do is to make a new version of my project by saving the present project with a new name e.g. if my present project name is "Project1_v1.vbp" then once I have made a few changes I want to save it as "Project1_v2.vbp". I can do this but if I then open either v1 or v2 they are both the same. I even tried saving to a different directory and get the same result.

I have looked at Tools | Options and also the Project | Project Properties but none of those setting seem to relate to this type of behaviour.

Can anyone help?

go through each form/class/module and do a Save As, to save to a new location (or name)

Then Save your project (Save As if you want to copy it too...)

Thanks CubeE101,

That sorted it.
