All Office 2000 apps stop responding when I try to change fonts.

Every Office 2000 app will stop responding on my win2k machine only when I try to change fonts, or sometimes when I try to save my work. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, I have unloaded the Norton 2001 like it said to do in a KB article, and I have tried changing the registry key for WORD. Nothing has worked. Please help. I work for a school and I need these machines up and going before the next year starts. So far, this has happened to all 40 machines. Thank you.

I had this exact problem. The only way I got round it was to install an extra 64MB, I now have 128MB. Everything works fine now. Lamaar75@hotmail.com

Umm, try closing Findfast. This program, installed with Office 2000 by default causes no end of problems with a lot of machines - it has a habit of locking up and preventing the system from doing anything else.

I tried upgrading the RAM but that didn't work. I don't believe FindFast is on. That is something I try to shut off when I run installs, but with 400 computers, I might have forgot a few. I will go back and check on that. Thanks for all the good tips. Keep them coming.
