I've been having a problem with a win98se machine lately. All letters (a-z that aren't assigned to other drives) will show up as mapped but I will be unable to access or disconnect them. I solved the problem temporarily by reinstalling the Microsoft Windows Client but it came back. Any suggestions?

Yes, the drives all appear as though they are mapped in explorer but with no path name.

Yes, it logs on to a WinNT domain and resources that are shared from an NT file server over an ethernet tcp/ip connection. Drives are mapped on user logon by way of a logon script.

If you do not login (hit escape at login screen) do the mapped drives still appear? James Collins
