Im completely lost this time, Ive only had on the job training with this phone system but can usually get by ok... The site in question is an Option 11c, and users have reported all analog lines down (about 25 lines on 5 Analog Line Cards)... It doesnt appear to be the cards (no errors), I just dont understand how only the Analog Cards would be affected (the rest of the system is functioning fine to include digital line cards)...

Any ideas?

Yep I checked that, it wouldnt let me elnc the entire card (not sure if you can do that with analog) but i had to go through and enlu each TN

you can ENLC analog and digital, so were they disabled??

Nope all cards were enabled...
I visually checked the cards for damage, nothing...
As far as I can tell everything looks good...

are they still down? if you clip onto a port, do you get battery?? Otherwise, INI if you can..

Do you mean is there still power coming out of the system?
I checked the line at the phone and it was dead air and I can tell a difference when I removed the card and did the same thing...

INI??

Stat your DTR card, depending on software level it should be card 0.

if your DTR is on Card 0 like hawks asked?? that was commonly missed during upgrades to SSC cards, also what cabinets are your analog cards in??

are the phones that are dead in then same building
as the phone switch?and if not are they going to a different
building and has anyone checked to see if the cable was cut?

no problems only solutions

Some phones are in same building and some are in another building...

What is INI?

if this keeps happening, I would investigate it further

Is it survivable ? I have a switch on 3.0 that had the survivable ssc cards, and their was a patch that had to be loaded on all the survivable ssc cards. If we loose power to a survivable cabinet, we have to INI the main cabinet for the patch to take on all the ssc cards.
