aligning objects 1

Hi all,
When I'm aligning objects, I've noticed that AI alignes them by moving both (or all) selected objects. Is there any tool which can align one object to another but not to move first selected object.

Select all objects involved in the line-up, then click just once on the object you wish to anchor in place, then do the alignment.
