Is it possible to setup up an alias in Exchange 5.5? I would like to have 2 variations of e-mail addresses point to the main one. Example:

main address: jsmith@abc.com
2nd address: joesmith@abc.com
3rd address: joe.smith@abc.com

I want the 2nd and 3rd emails to auto forward to the main address.

Thanks for any help!

No problem.
You only need to have the one account for a recipient like this. Add the others under the email accounts tab of the recipient in Exhange Administrator. Click on new and add the other addresses you wish to point to this individual.

it should look something like this..

1. open exchange admin
2. go to your server, recipients
3. select the main mailbox (jsmith)
4. select the email addresses tab
5. click new
6. select other, and type in joesmith@abc.com type should be smtp
7. repeat step 6 for joe.smith@abc.com

now all mail sent to those 3 smtp addresses will arrive at the main mailbox.

You can also set this up at the email server.
I log into my domain server.

For example...at mail to
glenna@abelson.com
glena@abelson.com
gra@abelson.com

all goes to 1 Exchange account.
