Alex error

Hi,

I am using Alex version 6.1 without any problems. Now when I open Alex the following message appears.

Error in COM (QueryInterface()):

I install the software again without any results. I am using windows XP

Check with the Windows Task Manager if a process called alex.exe is still running. If yes, end it. Sometimes this process is not stopped, f.e. if you end the process iexplore.exe (internet explorer).

I stopped the proces alex.exe After I start Alex again the error popup.

No i don't have ws-ftp installed.

Have you tried Alex 6.2 or 7.2 yet?

I solved the problem today. I turned of my virusscanner, on Alex and everything was working again. After this I turned on the virusscanner and Alex is still running. I did not know 7.1 is out. Is there alot of difference with 6.1??
