Ok, I am using Backup Exec 8.6 for NT. I have the overwrite protection set to none, yet it is still prompting me if I want to overwrite it. Is there anyway I can set my backups to just run, without user intervention required.

You might want to check this:
Under Tools-->Options-->Media Overwrite = select "None" for the Media Overwrite option & make sure that the tick box "Prompt before overwriting allocated or imported media" is unchecked.

I checked on all my servers and they are all setup as none, and the check box is unchecked. Thanks for your help though
