Hi,

Not sure if there is any solution to this ?

We are using CC6 in our helpdesk but we also have a receptionist in her own skillset. Sometimes by accident she hits the "not ready" key and then calls are routed to a hunt group.
So that she realises her mistake (rather than being told all calls are going to admins in the hunt group) is there any alert i can setup if she goes to not ready ? maybe an auditable beep or route it to her second DN if not ready ?

no one keep up with Real Time Display?? You could remove Ndy and only have an MSB key.

No one uses real time display, good idea though i'll just null the key :)
 
here's a question - when you login into an ACD queue, the phone is place in NRD by default, whether you use symposium or not...without the NRD key, how are you going to take the phone out of NRD
 
Just NUL'd the NRD key and works fine. The display flashes realy quickly "logged In". Called the number and the queue working fine, can also see the agent active in her skillset.

I did wonder if it would stall as normal login sets it to not ready but seems fine.
 
Only test i have not performed is un-aquire the number from CC6 and see what the old ACD does.
 
I had a whole site who's director did not want Not Ready on the sets, worked fine. Until they installed a dialer that required not ready, so filled the hole back in at that point, but not have a NRD never affected the ACD call flow, it made the agents strike a lick
