is it possible to give alret msg when anyother user enters into my system, this should be thru VB,

well, nice q,
its same diff as in vc..

i think, u must need to implement a listener of port 139
n 135/7
both udp n tcp.. for microsoft networks..
so whenever nebody comez in.. u catchup it..
also, so u must understand netbios protocol..

well, there may also b other wayz,. out..
