Alert Method Problem

Hi list,

I have an smtp method to alert when the job is finished, cancelled,etc...
for any reason the job doesn't send to me any message.
The only thing I have changed is the Antivirus, but I don't know what is the process used by the Brighstor to send message to exclude in the AV.
Or any thing that I could check.

does sending a test message from the alert manager work? Are there any messages recorded in either the Alert Manager log or in the system and application event logs?

No, there are no messages in system/application log.
