Alert Manager

Hey guys, I've installed McAfee vscan 8.0i onto a PC but would like to use the "Alert Manager" but when I tick the box to install it it asks for the install files. Is this a seperate product? I can't find anything about it even on the McAfee site.

I think...... It's part of VirusScan 80.i but it is an additional component; you may have to do a custom install. I know that when you use the Installation Designer you have the option of installing it or not.

Alert Manager is a separate download that you can get when you enter the web site with your Grant Number.

I've installed Alert Manager on one server and have all my VirusScan clients report to the Alert Manager on that server. Works very nicely when it e-mails me whenever a virus is detected on a PC.
