I have a Mitel sx-200 (Looks like a Microwave)

They are using the system as a Nurse Call. When someone takes the phone off hook, the console will show an alarm.

My problem is that the alarm ringer volume is to low. I kind of heard that a newer processor board allows an external device to be attached for alrms only.

The board is 9109-610-002-na
MCCIII-ML STRATUM 3

Can anyone help?

um if you go into the COS options you can change the default alarm ringer level for the sets. unless your not using sets then i don't know what your talking about

I guess I did not explain it properly.

When the alarm goes off the console will ring.
The actual volume of the console ring is not loud enough.

Can you help me out?

If you change the alarm ringer level to high in the console COS then it should be louder. but if you want something even louder than that I'm not sure if you can do it with the sx200el/ml but I have the sx200ml and upgraded to the sx200 icp and i know there is a relay port on there where you can add external alarms. i'm not sure if its on the sx200ml/el look on the back for a relay port or maybe there is a card you can buy but i'm not a dealer i don't know for sure.
