I know we can monitor IP Office via SNMP. Is there any other way to monitor this? Can it send alarms via modem dial-up similar to Definity PBX's INADS port?

Yes. It requires another program to do this. I have used Kiwi syslog to capture the SNMP traps and then write a rule to send the information via pager or e-mail to a specific user. I set the snmp tab in the system tab to send traps to the Kiwi syslog server. The rest of the work was done is Kiwi.

BTW I did submit the IP Office SNMP Mibs to them and they compiled them and are now avalibale at their web site to use with the product. Hope this helps

I guess I was misunderstood...I should have asked, "Is there any other way to monitor this without using ANY 3rd party tools? Can it send alarms via modem dial-up similar to Definity PBX's INADS port NATIVELY, without 3rd party tools?

In the system form, under the SNMP tab in Manager.

MIBS are on the docs CD.
