Alarm history

Is there a way in an Option 11 to go back and check when an outage occurred? For instance if the T1 took a hit can I go back and find out the exact time and if any alarms were generated?

Depending on how it is set up you should get some info there. I get 24hrs.

You can up the buffer it's the History ADAN. I would not go to high because I think it does use up some memory. But if you have plenty take a look at it in LD 17.

Changes to I/O devices are saved before ADAN is
reprompted. To indicate the data has been saved,
one of the following is output:
• ADAN DATA SAVED
• ADAN DATA CHGED
• ADAN DATA REMOVED
• ADAN DATA MOVED
Entering 4 asterisks (****) after the ADAN prompt
saves the changes and exits the overlay.

and there is always be the Sysload switch to resolve the issue

but in the HST make the buffer size to 65353

and u can run rdall on PDT to show more history

The 2nd way to retrieve history is to use LD 117 command:
PRT SEL 500
that will retrieve the history, less detailled than in LD 22 but that one survive to a sysload. 500 is the default max size.
You can change it up to 2000 with that command: CHG SELSIZE 2000
