Alarm database won't open.

We are currently having problems with HP Openview.

Our event database takes 20 - 30 minutes to open.
I have deleted several files from the the following path.
c:\openview\database\eventdb.

After the files have been deleted from the eventdb folder and the openview services have restarted OpenView can be restarted and the alarm database will open.

Openview seems to work okay for a couple of minutes as it starts to load the alarm event database then it just hangs.
 
I have the same experience too. But after I deleted the eventdb files and restart HPOV, it operates normally (several months ago).

I deleted the so called files but the problem still exists.
The only other option is to reinstall the software.
