Alarm 68 on CICS v7.1

Hi..

Anyone who encounter this problem?
According to our receptionist she's answering the incoming calls then it's look like fax tone then after she hangup then it will ring right away then that's the time she can hear the person on the other line..

one more thing she mention to me about Alarm68 on her Display...

I need to see it myself but if anyone encounter this kind of problem please HELP :)

A device has been connected to a port which is not available for the device type.

Power down the system and disconnect the device from the port identified. Reconnect it to a valid port.

is it happening on all lines?
is it happening on the lines itself - outside of the cics?
is irad off?

I saw that alarm 68 from CICS manual.. i'll try to visit our site incase it won't dissappear from the display...

My only concern right now is my 1st problem about she answered the phone then she's hearing a fax tone then hangup then it will ring right away again.. then pickup again then she can hear the person after the 2nd time she pickup the phone

I'll try to restart the phone system in the end of the day...

1. 100% IRAD is turn-Off
2. never had a chance to ask her if it's happening on all lines.. i'll ask...
3. It's happening inside CICS right now.. never had a chance to test it on the demarc

Could be an alarm system, or MOH device that's acting up. Is this happenning on the same line each time?

Yesterday when I went to our other side the only thing that I did to remove that is to hit CLEAR :)

Maybe someone tried to put computer on the telephone jack.. I mention to them that if that display happen again just phone me...

By the way we don't have MOH.. the alarm system has it's own private line...
