SCSI3 and SCSI4

Error is this -

cfgmgr -l scsi3
Method error (/usr/lib/methods/cfgncr_scsi -l scsi3 ):
0514-038 Error loading kernel extension.

On aix52 ml2 latest levels.

Tried removing scsi1 and 2 then mkdev 3 and 4 and cfgmgr but still same error. IBM have looked at LPP output but have said its fine....

To start run "lppchk -vm3" and make sure that comes back clean. If something didn't make it in the migration, that could explain the behavior.

Appears to be that type 4F SCSI Cards are not supported under aix5.2.

How do I tell if I have type "4F" cards? I am doing a migration this weekend!
