AIX - Windows Networking

Hi guys,

We got RS/6000 AIX 4.3.3 machine. What I should do to telnet into this server from a Windows Machine. I can establish a physical connection to the server through the hub. What I have to do in server for this? Do I need to perform some tasks like add an entry in /etc/hosts?

You dont have to do anything from the server side. If the IP address of the server is accessible from the windows machine or if you could ping it then you can already establish connection by just executing the telnet command to the server. Or much better to download a terminal emulator (tinyterm, reflection, crt, etc) and customize the necessary keyboard options.
