AIX system monitoring 3

Hi,

I just built AIX 5.2 and will be putting this in production in few days. Is anyone has as a script for system monitoring (disk space, cpu, network interface....)

Hello,
you can use nmon on your system. From the nmon output file you can create an excel sheet. You can download nmon and the nmon analyser (excel sheet) from the ibm webpages.

 
... and with the nmon analyser you can analyse your performance data. The NMON Anaylser create an Excel Sheet from the collectet performance data. Try it. I use it too.
 
right, nmon is the best tool performance measure...

you can automatically generate graphs (crontab task) and view them via browser....
