AIX oslevel command problem

Dear Support,

Recently,we issued the command 'oslevel' was display
"TYPERML" result,thus could you tell me it's a problem ?

or what's mean for that ?

Hi Jacky,
I believe you are missing an AIX PTF. Make sure you have the latest maintenance fixes applied. Hope this helps...

You did not state the OS level, however, for 5.1 install the PTF for APAR IY22939 which brings the bos.rte.install fileset up to a recent level and/or try removing the /tmp/.oslevel* files.

Another PTF is U479464 which will bring it to 5.1.0.15.

Try oslevel -fr which will rebuild the /tmp/.oslevel files.

This was also a problem upgrading to 4.3.3 and seems to have been in links in /usr/lpp/xlC/lib as well as the links in /usr/lpp/xlC/lib/profiled. Below are the correct links:
