We appear to have lost our aix v4.3.3.0 installation CD set. I understand there are different levels of aix 4.3.3 identified by a date on the CDROM set.

I would be grateful if someone could tell me how and from where I can obtain a replacement CDROM set.

Depends where you are.

IBM will supply replacement sets in the UK (providing you can prove ownership) for an admin fee of £35

Yes, the version is determined on the date stamped at the top of each CD in the set.

Another important tip, once you get your BOS set, make a "work" copy and store the original in a safe place. :)

According to IBM, the support for 4.3.x
will be ending as of 12/31/2003. So you
may want to consider looking at 5.x.

Call IBM AIX support and they will send you a refresh - as long as you are a legit customer who purchased it from them or a business partner.
