Hello all.
I tried to find something like iptables for aix 4.3.3, but had no luck. Is it possible to install iptables rpm with rpmrte, and what other packages do I need to do so (if there is no such package specially for aix)?
Thank you very much

Netfilter iptables works in linux (linux kernel) not in AIX. You could use genfilt.

Just to make sure - genfilt is NOT system command? It is a package that needs to be installed / downloaded? Or am I wrong?

Hi

You can define Rules with AIX IP-Sec.
Install the IP-Sec BFF Files from CD.
There are smit Panels to define the rules

I did not thank you both for your replies. Genfilt is much like iptables on which I'm used to. So, thank you for your help.
