aix fast recovery

Hi All,

I`m looking for a software that can restore fastly AIX, like Image backup, and has the following features:
- Boot tape;
- centralized backup of others pseries machines, SP nodes and lpar using lan like NIM;
- centralized administration;
- label on the tapes;

Does someone know or have information about it ??

TSM? NetBackup? Silohuette?

No, I need software to do backup of Operating System (AIX) and I can restore from this tape, like Image Backup, allowing boot. I think that TSM and Netbackup do not have features for Operating Systems, just for data.

we use TSM to backup a mksysb image file (mksysb -i -e /imagename) and later use NIM to install that image on a target. individual files are also backued up incrementally by TSM so we use that directly on the target if necessary. Oracle plays nicely with TSM as well so we don't need too many tools.
