AIX authentication thru Active Directory

Is there a way to authenticate an AIX user thru Active Directory? Also, how can I create a user in AD and automatically create the AIX user?

The only way i know to authenticate via active directory is to use Windows Services for Unix (SFU)

You will need to use Samba and LDAP.

There may be another way to authenticate using a kerberos client on the AIX box. I do not have all the details but I think it used the KRB5A module.

Has anyone try this ?
