Aix 5.1?

Will an RS6000 43P Model 150 support AIX 5.1? Is it possible to set this system up to boot 4.2, 4.3 and 5.1?

Theoretically possible, since we have a dinky 320 running either 5.0 or 5.1 just fine. Your fancy 150 should have no trouble. =) IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation

Presently running 5.1 on an old 43P 133Mz, no problems. 5.2 is out of the question as I discovered the hard way. Helps to read the release notes at times.... IBM Certified Confused - MQSeries

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know where I can get documentation for this system? I didn't see anything on the IBM site. I am mainly interested in the number of drives it will support and whether or not I can dual or triple-boot different versions of AIX.

as for your question, you can but I don't know how to do it off the top of my head without using a separate hdisk (or disk pair) for each OS. IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation
