AIX 4.3.3 maintenance release 8 - Any known problems 4

Anybody installed maintenance release 8 for AIX 4.3.3? If so any problems either with install or system problems after installation?

vmtune was so important to changes in 43308 and 8.1.7....check them?

OK - here's the next challange, I rebooted the server again
stopped everything from autostarting and ran a mksysb. It used 6.5 Gb of memory and didnt release it again when it finished.

When I check svmon it's pinning a number of files into memory for no apparent reason - these are all largeish files
but nothing over 100Mb

I'm running it again but in verbose mode to see if these are the last files or not

Any ideas ? - Should a mksysb be using this much resources ?

APAR: IY22259 Is 4.3.3.-09 ...soon to be released....Perhaps we
upgrade with some of the serious patches out there....may be a good idea.?
