Hi, I'm thinking of getting an Airport card for my apple iBook, but don't know whether it wuold be compatible with the Thompson Speedtouch 570 wireless router????

I do not want to have to buy the airport base station too.

Any and all suggestions would be very useful.
Thankyou all,

Oxy

If the Thompson is WiFi certified/compatible, you should be good to go; I've used my iBook's Airport card with D-Link and Linksys routers before with no problems -- however, if the Thompson requires Windows-specific software to configure it that could be the sticking point; make sure it offers web-based configuration that you can set up in your browser.
